''We recently (summer 2020) had an extension to our dinning room and decided to try to match in, and re-lay the 1960 teak parquet floor, some of which had been reclaimed from under the lounge carpet .. so we thought we had enough! And fortunately we did! When I first tried to find someone to do the job and made enquiries I got very mixed reactions, until I spoke to Shaun. He was so positive and enthusiastic about the project I was very pleased to hear. So he visited us, and we received a quote very promptly. We accepted and then booked in the necessary 4 days to do the work, well in advance because of Shaun’s work load, and also time had to be allowed for the extension floor to dry out completely! So Shaun arrived on the agreed day and time and started work .. it was like a big jigsaw puzzle ... the reclaimed wood blocks from under the lounge carpet were all in the garage tied up in Sainsbury carrier bags !! Shaun sorted and laid the floor, sanded filled and sealed it well within the timescale.. with very little dust or any inconvenience to us ! Needless to say we were delighted and thrilled with the finished floor and friends have been amazed too!! So I would have no hesitation in recommending Shaun .. what he said was possible, proved to be the case! So a big thank you to Shaun for an amazing reclaimed dinning room floor, which will last for many years to come.''
